Six-Week Beginner Course — Raspberry Pi: Build Your Own Mini-Computer!

Ever wanted to build your own computer… but never quite knew where to start?

This hands-on six-week program takes you back to the basics with the Raspberry Pi — a tiny but powerful computer you can actually assemble, customise, and make do useful things!

Across six friendly sessions, you’ll learn essential electronics and computing skills — perfect for absolute beginners or anyone who’s been curious about tech but never took the plunge. We’ll cover how to set up the Raspberry Pi, connect components, install software, and get your very first projects up and running.

What you’ll learn:

  • What a Raspberry Pi is and how it works

  • How to install the operating system & boot up your Pi

  • Connecting screens, keyboards, networks & more

  • Introduction to basic coding

  • Simple, fun mini-projects you can show off at home

  • Confidence in building and tinkering with real tech

This is a chance to learn a new skill, build something with your own hands, and open the door to a whole new hobby. By the end of the course, you’ll have your very own mini-computer — and the excitement of knowing you built it.

No technical experience needed — just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
