Our retreats are spread evenly around the UK, chosen for their dark skies, coastal or wide-horizon calm, and sense of stepping away. From the rugged moorland and sea air of Exmoor National Park and the dramatic cliffs of the North Cornwall Coast, to the open beaches of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the timeless landscapes of the Jurassic Coast, each location offers a different kind of quiet. Further north, the coastal fringes of Snowdonia (Eryri), the still waters and night skies of the Lake District National Park, and the open moorland of the Yorkshire Dales provide space to breathe. To the east, the wide skies and sea horizons of the Norfolk Coast offer a gentler kind of escape, while the Scottish Borders Coast and the dark-sky coastline of Galloway Coast invite a deeper sense of distance and stillness. Our West Malaysia retreats are set in low-light, nature-rich locations chosen for their ability to help you slow down, breathe, and step away from everyday intensity. Within easy reach of Kuala Lumpur, the forested surrounds of Kuala Kubu Bharu and the quiet dam and woodland areas around Sungai Selangor Dam offer accessible resets under darker skies. Further west, the open paddy landscapes of Sekinchan provide wide horizons and night skies that feel spacious and unhurried. To the north, the hinterland of Penang National Park combines forest, coastline, and distance from city lights, while the cooler air and elevated calm of Fraser’s Hill and Cameron Highlands offer a different rhythm of rest. For those seeking a deeper step away, Taman Negara National Park and the remote interior of Endau–Rompin provide immersion in ancient rainforest, natural soundscapes, and some of the darkest skies available in the region.
